I do try and "go for a walk" most days, sometimes it's just a walk, rather than walking for exercise - but it does feel good to move when you've been sitting down all day. Spoke to someone yesterday who has been training for 6 months so they can spend 4 weeks walking in Peru - Machu Pichu - and next year he says it will be Kilimanjaro - inspirational let me tell you.

One of the best ways I have found to reduce the love handles is by walking.... try going for a 30 minute power walk every day - the morning is always a good time, that way you don't conveniently forget to go. Obviously if you can walk for longer the better it will be, so if you can, try interspersing a longer walk on a weekend with your daily 30 minute power walks. OK the results aren't overnight - BUT - if you are consistent and walk on a regular basis over the course of a couple of weeks you should start to see some difference in your shape. Great news of course is that walking also tones the legs, and if you swing your arms you can get something of an upper body workout happening as well.
