Toning Up: Is 30 minutes a day good enough?
If you are new to exercise, the answer would be - even 5 minutes, several times a day is better than no exercise at all.
Our bodies are designed to move, they "need" to move in order to keep our physiology healthy. As an added bonus - the movement can tone up our bodies.
But you don't have to do "exercise" to tone up your body.
- Do you clean your own house?
- Do you do your own gardening?
- Do you walk the dog / cat / budgie?
- Do you do your own ironing?
People who do, tend to be more toned than those who don't. And we won't go into the "why" here.
What we are talking about here is "incidental" exercise and can be used as a great way of keeping our bodies fit and toned. So, if you don't clean your own house or do your own gardening and find you lack the motivation to exercise as well, consider starting - not only will you save money on cleaners and gardeners you get to tone up as well.
