Tone up: How long is a piece of string

Well not really how long is a piece of string, but the usual question of

"How long does it take to tone up?" is one we get asked all the time.

The answer to that is "it depends"

  • How much body fat you are carrying
  • How much you weigh
  • How many times a week you currently train
  • What kind of training you currently do
  • What your diet is like
  • What and how much you drink
  • Your mindset - are you willing to commit to a new way of living / eating / training? Or not?

Everyone is different and results can and will vary based on all of the above. The trick (if we can call it that) is to be consistent.
